Broadcast Integration + Campaign
During the Super Bowl Halftime Show, Intel launched the first televised drone show in history. To take on this complex challenge, we partnered with the NFL, Pepsi, and Lady Gaga to create a synchronized light show using over 300 drones that kicked off her performance. The drones lit up the sky behind Gaga as she sang from the roof of NRG Stadium, taking the shape of the American flag, a symbol of unity on a day when America comes together. To pull off the stunt, we used our Shooting Star drones, custom-made for light shows, and programmed animations that synchronized the drones in flight, all controlled by a single Intel-powered computer.
We partnered with Lady Gaga and the NFL to create a Half Time Show like no other.
We created a unique synchronized drone light show to kick off Lady Gaga's performance - 300 custom made Intel drones lit up the sky in a choreographed aerial performance, as a beautiful backdrop to the singers opening act. This also marked the first-ever drone integration during a televised event.
"The most impressive after the patriots come back."
